Luke's Room

We are pretty much finished with baby Luke's room!  It all came together really fast...it seemed much easier putting a boy's room together than a girl's.  Probably because I just don't have the energy or time to think about it as much this time around!  I love how it turned out, we were going for sort of a subtle western look and wanted to incorporate the characters Woody and Bullseye from Toy Story.

Steve did all the artwork on the walls while Katelyn helped me organize!

We got the bedding at Pottery Barn, I just loved the star sheet! Steve's parents bought the crib, so sweet of them!

This is one of Woody's sayings, "Reach for the Sky!".  Steve painted the silhouette pics of Woody and Bullseye too.  My parents bought the dresser, thanks mom and dad!

Katelyn loves playing in this room.  I think she thinks its just a giant room for her to play with her baby in.  She loves to put baby "ni-night" in the crib, the swing, and rock her baby in the rocking chair.

All ready for a little baby brother!!  Our good friend Mary Phillips knitted this blanket, it is so cute and soft!  Thanks Mary!

  1. I love it and love the name too! You look ready! And I love the idea of putting the swing in the nursery, I think I'm going to do that too the second time around.

  2. Thanks Becks! Ya, not sure if the swing will stay there...may end up out in the living room or our bedroom, we'll see.
