An Eventful Weekend

This past weekend had a lot going on.  On Saturday we took Katelyn to see Disney on Ice: Toy Story!  Grammie and Grandpa surprised us with tickets (thank you!).  Katelyn loves this movie and knows all the characters, so she had a blast recognizing them all.  I wasn't sure how long she would want to sit through it, but it kept her engaged almost the whole time (like an hour and a half!).

"Studying" before the show :)
(I'm proud of myself for finally attempting some bows...I made this one to go with her last minute outfit - its actually a t-shirt from the boys section at Target, Luke may inherit this one!)

And in the car...

We just had to get a Jesse doll.

Jesse and Bullseye

The aliens

Jesse and Woody

Hangin out during intermission.

She LOVES the part in the movie when Barbie and Ken first see each other (set to the "Dreamweaver" song).  So she was thrilled to see Barbie come skating out.  But after only about 2 seconds of watching Barbie, she immediately started asking, "KEN??"

The next day we went to Murray Farms with the Lewis fam.  Katelyn got to play in a corn kernel pool, run through a few mazes, race rubber duckies, ride a cow train, and best of all...dance on top of a haystack with Sydney!  Such a fun day!
