Henderson and more...

I haven't updated this in a while so this is a bunch of randomness over the past month or so. Steve came home with the Hunger Games series (a student of his bought it for him at the book fair) and so I thought I'd give it a try.  I was completely hooked after the first few pages! So any spare minute I've had lately has gone to reading (not my usual hobby, although I get addicted if I have a great book).  I just finished book 1 and will be starting 2 tonight...but I made myself put it down to catch up a little on the blog...

1. We had so much fun visiting Papa and Nana in Henderson!

Papa made Mickey Mouse pancakes for Katelyn

Yuuuum!

Papa and Luke

They even let us escape for a date night down on the strip!  We ate at Cabo Wabo (my first time, it was SOO fun and delicious!)

Killer coconut margarita...I admit I had to have two.

Katelyn got private golfing lessons!

And even got to drive the golf cart!

We ate at Steak n' Shake for the first time also, so delicious!  I think Luke wants to work there someday.

2. The weekend after Henderson, Michelle and Zach (and Crosby) came to Bako for a visit.  We had fun BBQing and hanging out by Mom and Dad's pool (the weather has been so nice!).

Katelyn loves to help Grandpa fix things around the yard.

While Luke just chills and gets a kick out of everything.

Michelle's friend makes these adorable tutus (with matching bow and necklace).  Katelyn loved running around in it all day.

The kids LOVE Crosby!

3. Luke just turned 8 months old, I can't even believe it!  Pretty much every day I wish that he would just stop right here and stay this cute little chunk forever.  Then I'm up with him at night wishing the opposite!  He's doing pretty well sleeping through most nights now (10-11 hours) but this didn't happen until we figured out a way to fix his problem with wetting himself through at night.  We now have to use the night time diapers and kind of rig them to make it so that he doesn't get soaked.  As long as he stays dry he seems to make it all night.  He is sitting up, but still tumbles down all the time!  He rolls and army crawls all over the place but isn't up on all fours yet.  He's full of giggles all the time and has just started his "dadada" babbling sounds.  Katelyn thinks its so funny that he knows how to say "dada"!

I love my boys!
